Jackie Cameron’s Summary
In 2003 I had the privilege of being part of a the international leadership development programme Columba 1400 on the Isle of Skye where I both learned coaching skills and met people I would never have in my normal day to day life. This fired my passion for supporting people in their personal development - no matter what age, stage or background.
Since setting up Cameron Consulting I have led projects with business people - both employees and business owners - as well as those who had been out of work for a while and needed some support to get back in there.
In addition I have worked with young people in schools, college and university students. They are truly our future.
In the world of education I have taught coaching skills to school headteachers and undertook a research project for the Scottish Government on school leadership.
Many people I meet have great ideas but need some support to take the first steps to making them work. Others are so immersed in the day to day "stuff" that they can't see the opportunities for them.
My continuing aim is to work with others to make a difference.
