Working in the promotions department, coming up with ideas, fitting them to the right clients and working on both the initial pitch and the final product. These might be anything from celebrity interviews to travel features or edgy fashion stories. GQ has exacting creative standards, and I work with the art editor and clients to make sure that promotions flow seamlessly with the rest of the magazine. As well as straight advertorials, we complete larger projects such as booklets and guides, integrating them with clients' multi-platform campaigns and our own online.

Rubbish Magazine
I founded Rubbish Magazine with my sister. It is a hardback annual that celebrates and satirises the fashion industry. Issue one was published (without incurring a loss) in February 2006 and got fantastic press. Issue two is out soon.
I have had features, articles and columns published GQ, Elle, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday, the Reader’s Digest, The Resident, The London Magazine, Arrivals Magazine, The Week and MoneyWeek. I write about everything from finance and gadgets to history and fashion.
- One of the ‘Hotmale’ columns I wrote for Elle magazine was their most popular ever.
- Launch editor on a number of pitches for contract publishing firm, Cedar Communications. As well as coming up with the structure of proposed publications, I wrote and edited the pitch documents, commissioned sample features, developed editorial strategy and presented at client meetings.
