With an undergraduate business degree and having co-founded two educational services firms, I was convinced that entrepreneurship was critical to solving the world’s problems. This is what brought me to the Babson MBA program. However, my Babson experience taught me that I could contribute far more as an advisor/consultant with strengths in strategy & collaboration-building, than as an entrepreneur. This is what pulled me towards consulting and strategic planning, especially in the non-profit field.
At Babson, I was an active officer of the consulting club, and also participated in four non-profit consulting engagements. Right now, I am working on a three-month consulting assignment for the Center for Women & Enterprise, Boston. After this, I am targeting consulting & strategic planning roles specifically in non-profits, but also those in the mainstream consulting/strategy space.
Strategy/analysis; relationship management; project management
Prior entrepreneurial experience in the educational services space, in marketing, sales and negotiation, to help get hyper-active high-school students into colleges, while working 14-hour days with friends to build a company from scratch.
