At Wildfire, I helped move from having no suitable customer database (it was spread across three different software programs) to implementing a unified software package that maintains a customized database linked to accounting records.
I started a monthly newsletter which immediately boosted sales 73% the month it came out, and sales continued to maintain higher levels than previous months. Our customers loved the newsletter!
At the end of my tenure, I finished a catalog/special report which not only presented tons of information, but sold our products as the only viable alternative. Instead of sticking around to tabulate the results, I decided to move on and start my consulting practice.
