After researching existing "D-schools" in India, surverying leading teachers and professionals and students in India and the USA, I reached the conclusion that there is a compelling need to promote design in India, especially right now.

I have a passion for both film and digital photography. I use a Leica M6 rangefinder camera and a Canon G7 digital camera. Recently, I have become very interested in creating my own videos/short films. I have a penchant for typeface form and design. Am often found drawing typefaces and type-forms in my spare time. I collects and photographs interesting surfaces, textures and type-forms that I seeks out on his numerous walks in New York and New Delhi.

The New Talent Design Award from Graphis for the book cover Fairs. The book cover was featured in the 2006 New Talent Awards Book.
:Output Foundation Design Award, for the book cover "The Corporation" (2006)
The Worldstudio Foundation Scholarship, given to international students who have used graphic design to make social and environmental contributions in their home country. (2004)
Placed 2nd and 3rd in the International Photography Awards, Los Angeles
