Super Powers
I am hypersensitive to very high pitch sounds. This means that I can tell when a television or radio has been left on, even from very far away.
I can instinctively find my car in a parking lot. While this ability is remarkably accurate when used in a subconscious manner, any attempt to consciously think about the location of the car will cause it to stop working, resulting in being lost indefinitely.
Cats like me. Even cats that "don't like anyone". I don't know why, they just do.
Granted, it's not like Stan Lee is making cameos in my life, but still, I think there's a moderately successful short-lived comic book idea in there somewhere. Maybe a video game. I'll even wear a costume if it helps. Talk to me if you're interested.
Also, I'm pretty good at programming and making web sites.

I build stuff for Yahoo. I've been the lead front end developer on Games, Brand Universe, Buzz, and YAP. In these roles, I've written an awful lot of javascript, CSS, and PHP, and more than my fair share of bash, yicf, and other random stuff. I've designed web services and reusable components. I've answered questions and mentored junior developers. I've been routinely humbled and amazed by the quality and quantity of front-end talent this company.
I'm transitioning to the YUI team as of August 2009. I'm looking forward to once again being one of the junior members of a team, and I'm flattered that they think I'll be able to add to the product.
