I am a flexible software engineer who is experienced in software projects from analysis to engineering and quality assurance. I have a passion for learning, which drives me to write better code than I have previously and to learn new techniques for solving interesting problems. I am interested in utilizing my knowledge of software creation to solve challenging problems within exciting sectors of the industry.
I also enjoy game programming, from graphics engine implementation to logic and AI. I'm currently implementing a 3D engine in C++ using DirectX 9 during my spare time. It's what keeps me up at night.
Languages: Java, C / C++, C#, VB / .Net, SQL, IBM Assembly, ActionScript.
APIs: XNA, DirectX, Swing.
Interests: Graphics programming, artificial intelligence, speech recognition, game logic implementation, finite state automata, ecological simulations (particularly predator/prey scenarios), and anything that provides a satisfying challenge.
