I am a PhD Candidate, studying under the supervision of Dr. Margaret-Anne Storey with The Chisel Group at the University of Victoria. My research interests include software architecture, information visualization, programming languages and helping people manage large information spaces. I am currently studying how Model Driven Visualization can assist while creating advanced user interfaces for complex data sets. I currently hold an IBM PhD Global Fellowship, and through my work with IBM, I have been studying how information visualization techniques can be applied to the Eclipse Modeling Framework.
Summary of Specialized Skills:
- Designed, developed, and managed Zest, an open source visualization toolkit for Eclipse.
- Organized workshops and published several papers related to model driven software engineering.
- Completing a dissertation in information visualization and human computer interaction.
- Organized and delivered university level courses in object oriented programming.
- Recovered the architecture of several large open source systems using a variety of static analysis techniques.
