Ipswitch File Transfer (FT) is responsible for developing, selling and supporting the company’s well-known lines of secure and managed file transfer software -- WS_FTP Server, WS_FTP Professional, WS_FTP Home, MOVEit Central, and MOVEit DMZ. These products provide a comprehensive set of solutions used around the world by tens of thousands of small to medium and enterprise-level companies, government agencies and educational institutions – as well as by millions of individuals.

The FT division has approximately 75 employees at it's US offices in Lexington, Massachusetts, Madison, Wisconsin and Augusta, Georgia, as well as in the United Kingdom and Europe. The division’s products are sold worldwide via e-commerce, a direct sales staff, and through distributors, resellers and OEMs.
