I am a Senior Consultant within IBM AS Consulting Services. I advise on services and solutions within leading companies and organizations in several sectors and industries.
- I advice customers on improvement of products, services and processes.
- I propose improvement solutions, plans and/or products for the customer based on business ideas and/or plans and translate business plans to IT requirements.
- I investigate organizational processes and provide ideas and solutions for improvement.
- I advice and help gain the full business benefits out of improvement streams within areas such as governance, compliance, process improvement, change management, requirements management and configuration management and development factories.
- I coordinate solution directions within short and long term business directions and lead improvement projects within the defined business strategy, architecture and roadmaps.
- During my career I gained experience in the full project lifecycle in a wide range of advisory and operational roles.

From 1999 to 2006 I was part of the AIS group within PWC Consulting and later IBM BCS as a senior consultant / IT architect.
Starting from 2006 I will focus mainly on Rational solutions and products within the newly formed IBM BCS AS Rational Consulting Group.

Project contribution : Coupling of the Rational Suite and Siebel including UCM and RUP. Worked on the implementation of a large Siebel Development Factory based on the set of Rational Tools with an emphasis on UCM and supporting parallel development with Siebel. Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, ProjectConsole, RequisitePro, SODA approx. 800 users incl. India. Worked on the Development and Deployment strategy. Performed the role of e.g. Configuration Management Manager. Teamlead of the Rational Team.

The large multi-tier application was build on the Microsoft Platform (ASP.Net) using C#.

The municipality started a pilot in which parts of the i-care suite of the e-crm supplier KANA were implemented to answer questions from citizens consistently, to implement central registration of phone/fax/mail messages and route questions within the organization. This implementation was followed by several other parts other municipality, which used different functionalities on the same architecture

During 6 "waves" we designed and implemented the www.unive.nl e-commerce site, providing online (new) insurances, couplings to back office and other systems like Siebel, improving marketing capabilities. During these years of waves I fulfilled roles as testanalyst, developer, lead developer, analysist and architect.
Several tasks i fulfilled during these waves were providing feedback on several functional designs and user questions from a technical perspective; designing, building and testing several new insurance products; solving daily incidents and resolving change requests; implementing several changes and improving a general technical framework 'wizard wizard'; assisting in several marketing campaigns, implementing and designing back-office interfaces, instructing team members, euro conversion and providing documentation.
The site was based on the Microsoft e-commerce platform, (d)com, sql server, asp, html, javascript, VB, SiteServer, SourceSafe, InterDev.

The client's goal was to penetrate the technical callcenter area with a new company which main revenue was generated from a pay-line for technical endusers.
I made a management projectplan of the communication company. The phases following this were the selection and recruitment of callcenter technicians, creating the architecture based on a Microsoft Platform (including a NT network linked to the callcenter ), designing and implementing a technical and customer database including interfaces, training of the new technicians and at the end of the project the daily lead over the team of technicians.
