During his time at SDSU, he was awarded the prestigious National Hispanic Scholarship Fund (NHSF) as well as the coveted Ronald McDonald HACER (Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) scholarships for his distinguished scholastic achievements as well as his community involvement.
