Andrew Ingkavet’s Summary

Andrew Chai Ingkavet is a wide-angle creative working interdisciplinary in the areas of Music, Design, New Media, Film and Television.

In the early 1990's Andrew was one of the first VJ's for MTV-Asia. As an actor with Pan-Asian Repertory Theater company, he starred in the original Off-Broadway production of "Letters To A Student Revolutionary." You may also see him in the background of several Cosby Show episodes.

In 1994, Andrew co-founded award-winning interactive agency Lemon in Hong Kong, securing their first clients Cathay Pacific, NBC-Asia, CNBC, and MSNBC.

Upon returning to the States in the mid 90's, he quickly rose to Vice President / Creative Director for advertising giant Foote, Cone & Belding's fledgling interactive agency. Whilst there he scored many multimedia and Web projects, several of which won awards.

As a Composer/Music Producer he has credits in advertising, television, film, television, multimedia/web and even at the United Nations. His film scoring includes independent feature "Noelle" for which industry trade magazine VARIETY says "Obviously a labor of love for all parties involved...Andrew Ingkavet's delicate musical score are the film's standout production values."

He recently scored the Obie-award winning 70 minute multi-media theater production "Abandon" by Matthew Maguire which premiered at LaMama in October 2006 to rave reviews and packed houses and for which he has been nominated for "Outstanding Original Music" by New York Innovative Theater Awards.
