Indranil Guha’s Summary

Since mid-2007, I have been working with Bain Capital Ventures, the $1B venture arm of Bain Capital. I have had extensive exposure to digital media (specifically consumer internet, online video and mobile content / applications) and enterprise software (IT security, network management, business applications).

As an associate, my primary role has been leading due diligence processes and presenting investment recommendations to the partners in the fund. The role has expanded my ability to comprehensively understand the growth drivers behind a business - both external (market trends, buyer behavior, competitive dynamics)and internal (management strength, sales ops and execution, marketing).

Prior to BCV, I worked for 2+ years at the Monitor Group, a leading strategy consulting firm. My 1st year was spent doing traditional strategy consulting work and in my 2nd year I focussed on the Technology, Media and Telecom space with Monitor Ventures, a $60MM early stage VC fund affiliated with Monitor.
