Imran Khan brings a diverse background in data driven marketing to his role as CMO of E-LOAN. He has integrated E-LOAN's multi-channel marketing efforts through his metrics driven approach to help E-LOAN become a leader in the highly competitive financial services marketplace. Under his leadership E-LOAN was twice rated the “Best Overall Mortgage Website” by Keynote WebExcellence in 2006 & 2007, and also Ranked #1 for Customer Respect by the Customer Respect Group. He was responsible for developing E-LOAN's industry-leading search engine marketing program, earning it the mortgage industry's 2005 "Best in SEM" award.
Before joining E-LOAN, Imran served as head of marketing at Cambrian Ventures, where he helped incubate Efficient Frontier, now the largest SEM company in the nation. Prior to Cambrian, he ran the marketing group at Elance, a leading services marketplace for small businesses where he engineered a revenue growth of over 400%. Before Elance, Imran was responsible for structuring Hewlett Packard’s internet business unit’s partnerships with technology start-ups.
Imran frequently speaks about online-offline media convergence, multi-channel marketing, and trends in data driven marketing and customer acquisition at industry events like Ad:Tech, Net.Finance, JFAM Summit, Syndicate, and Forrester Finance Forum. Imran sits on the advisory boards of Efficient Frontier, Pandora, Ugenie, Multilytics, & TutorVista. He holds a MBA from Cornell University. He holds a second MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan and a BA from Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan.
