Goal-driven, passionate worker based in New England region, who is equally comfortable working as part of a team environment, as well as producing results on my own.I am capable of dealing with deadlines and stressful situations at work.
Currently, I am involved with Cambridge, MA based MetaCarta, where I started out as as intern during the summer of 2007. This position is a huge step for me in terms of understanding the principles and core values that lie behind every successful company.
On a technical side, I have a thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver and Quark XPress, as well as basic design/production skills. I have an enormous interest in web and graphic design and I'm on my way towards completion of web development certificate from New England Institute of Art.
Russian is my native language, but I also speak English fluently, so I can always provide help with all kinds of translation/localization projects.

In the summer of 2007, I was invited for an internship with a Boston division of Morris Visitor Publications, company responsible for producing Where Magazine, a tour guide available all over the world.
My main role was to recreate Quark Xpress ads in Adobe InDesign, as well scanning/editing images in Adobe Photoshop and creating slide libraries.

While eventually I decided to search for a different opportunity, I still learned a great deal from training and subsequent work with First Notice.
