Cofounder of construction-engineering subsidiary of NCC Ab (Sweden), the second largest construction firm in Scandinavia, known for its heavy infrastructure skills in the oil and gas industry. Responsible for driving business in the Former Soviet Union (FSU - Russia, Kazakhstan). Worked with U.S. partners (Parsons, Bechtel, Fluor Daniel) and in coordination with U.S. government agencies (OPIC, Ex-Im Bank, TDA, USAID; also the DoD) on oil & gas, aerospace and other major projects in the FSU.

President / co-founder of the firm that, with a half dozen brilliant young talents and several hundred thousand dollars from an insurance company, developed the leading word processing application of the time in Assembler (!). Became an equal partner when the company, originally called Softword Systems, was faltering. Renamed to MultiMate International; did capital raising deals with IBM, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Radio Shack, Sirius (Chuck Peddle). Built the marketing and business development aspect of the firm. Sold share of firm to Greylock (the vc company, Boston). MultiMate was soon acquired by Ashton-Tate.
