Ijonas Kisselbach has been involved in I.T. for the last 14 years, after obtaining a BSc. Computing Science from the University of Glasgow in 1995. He has occupied various roles in that time developing a technical expertise that is both wide and in-depth. As Vamosa's Chief Technology Officer, Ijonas currently manages the company's product family and its overall product strategy.
His involvement with Vamosa began in 2002, initially designing the current product family and leading the development team. In 2006, he moved on to provide technical leadership by defining the product roadmap and managing product delivery, coordinating activities between product development and product marketing.
Before joining Vamosa, Ijonas was a company director and Chief Technology Officer for ServSoft Ltd., a twenty-person-strong independent software vendor, developing web-based document management software. Ijonas has also successfully held enterprise architect roles delivering large-scale Siebel implementations and Java-based consumer-facing websites.
In short, Ijonas understands real-world technology front-to-back back-to-front.

Growing from a mere consultant to technical architect was a challenging experience, probably the defining for my career. I learned everything from Java to Siebel, systems architecture, "real world" database design, and the impact of large volumes of data on everything from hard disks, networks, software and people.
