Ian is President of The Schegg Group, LLC, an HR consulting firm focusing on career transition, recruiting and executive coaching. Ian was CEO of Australian Skandia, Ltd., in Sydney, Australia. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President at American Skandia, Inc.. Before that he was a Part Owner and Vice President of Synergy Plus Software, Inc., a software development company. Prior to that he was a Vice President in the U.S. division of Sun Life of Canada, in Boston.
Ian’s work building high-performance organizations is featured in three management books: Market Ownership, The Art & Science of Becoming #1, by William A. Sherden, Fun Works, Creating Places Where People Love to Work, by Leslie Yerkes, and Lead like an Entrepreneur, by Dr. Neal Thornberry. Babson College developed a business case based on Ian’s work, for its MBA and executive development programs.
Ian earned his MBA from Babson College, Wellesley, MA and his BS in Accounting from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He is qualified in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and is certified to teach The Organization Workshop, developed by Barry Oshry, Power and Systems, Inc.
