I was still at Crimson at this point, though getting involved in the social media scene. The mag and bizplan was my idea, and its continued existence hopefully means that's a good thing.

Ah, Crimson. What can I say? Like any startup, a very lovely company to be with in its initial stages. Less so, as the MD realised that our products weren't as profitable as he'd imagined. I launched and ran What Laptop and ICT for Education at Crimson, and advised on a number of other projects.
(Educational Institution; 201-500 employees; Primary/Secondary Education industry)
September 1990 — July 1998 (7 years 11 months)
Used to be called Erith College, but negative associations for the area provoked a change of brand. Some lovely experiences, especially teaching the adult evening classes in A-Level English.

Lovely institution; great colleagues. Sadly shut down by the Local Authority (Sandwell) because we weren't as cost efficient as the local FE college.
