Ian Wild BSc(hons), CPhys, MInstP is a professional physicist whose work has always focused primarily on communication and learning.
Fifteen years spent in private industry designing communication system software eventually saw Ian concentrate on the development of accessibility and learning aids for blind, partially sighted, dyslexic, and dyscalculic computer users - whilst also working as a part time math and science tutor.
Ian has a passionate interest in educational methodology and alternatives in education. He is a specialist in the use of technology in education, having written numerous magazine articles on the subject - as well as being the author of the popular textbook for teachers "Moodle Course Conversion".
Although his work takes him into a variety of fields, Ian still enjoys teaching maths, physics, chemistry and ICT. Ian strongly believes that one-to-one tuition can not only bring exam success in these subjects but also, helped by Ian's great enthusiasm for teaching and education generally, instil in students a lifelong drive to learn.
