Iain is a Design Planner and joined Plan in 2006 after completing an internship at SeymourPowellForesight. He has been involved in design research, analysis and strategy development projects for multi-national clients in the fields of consumer electronics, mobile communications and FMCG.
In 2003, Iain graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a first class degree in design for which he was awarded The Chairman's Medal for Design.
Following his undergraduate studies, Iain went on to complete a Master of Arts in Interior, Industrial and Identity Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
As a student, Iain was the recipient of an RSA Student Design Award and won a competition to redesign the interior of Gribloch House, a grade A listed building by British modernist architect, Sir Basil Spence.
Iain is a Fellow of the RSA and has lectured on Design Trends and Presentation Techniques at The Glasgow School of Art.
