RESEARCH INTERESTS
Investigate the room temperature transition mechanism between excitonic and electron-hole plasma stimulated emission at high excitation level.
Design and fabricate quantum confinement structure of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) thin film to sustain room temperature excitonic gain at high excitation level.
Optimize the ZnO thin film by using the industrial filtered cathodic vacuum arc (FCVA) system.
Demonstrate a low excitation threshold and high power continuous wave ultraviolet (UV) lasing using the proposed ZnO thin film.
