Iworld Networking was founded as a management service provider (MSP), like OpsWare founded by Mark Andressen. Iworld Networking had a strong venture backing from Worldview Partners, Softbank Ventures, Newton Tech Partners, and Bill Schrader, the then-CEO of PSINet.

Unfortunately, the MSP business in general has never took off unlike the high expectation, and so was Iworld Networking.

Founded in 1994, Inet is one of the first Internet access service provider (ISP) in Korea, and had grown into one of 3 major ISP's competing against Korea Telecom and Dacom.

In 1998, Inet was acquired by PSINet, the first and then-the-largest ISP globally, and has been the only profititable operations of PSINet together with the UK.
