    Worked primarily on the celebritytweet.com website. At the start of the engagement, the server experienced a load of 10, and a major slowdown during peak traffic periods. After initial two days of performance tuning, troubleshooting and admin of both the database and the webserver, load was reduced to an average of 2. We then worked closely with the developer isolating problem queries, tuning, adding indexes, and further tweaks to memory usage. From there we were able to reduce the load to .20, for a grand total of 50x speedup. Imagine the highway drive home during rush hour Thanksgiving, versus any random Sunday evening Monday morning at 5am. That's the improvement we were able to achieve.
