I started to work as a software developer in 1998, working on DBFleet application, which was developed together with Carano SE in Berlin. Later on, I moved to more responsible tasks as designing the functionals parts of database and software solutions. The cooperation with Carano was the source of many interesting projects for such customers as Deutsche Bahn, Dekra, VR Leasing or german army fleet services (BWFuhrpark). The main area of industry was the automotive fleet management for large companies.

My tasks, along with current customer's system maintaining, was to develop new functionality and improvements to their applications (such as multi-VAT functionality, EURO currency readiness, etc).

For over two years my job was to lead the software projects. My responsibilities were, among others, customer needs analysis, project architecture design, leading a team of developers and managing the implementation and deployment process.
