I currently serve as the Multimedia Design Leader providing assistance to Communities of Practice as they develop multimedia content for use with eXtension. My role includes the planning and development of interactive learning modules, applications, and support graphics and materials. I also assist and train other Designers/Developers within the Communities of Practices on ways to use the technologies offered by eXtension to build multimedia products.
I started at the University of Kentucky in the Creative Applications for Learning Environments Lab (CALE) as a Graphic Designer. There my responsibilities included web/print designs and interactive multimedia applications for various groups within the College of Agriculture and Extension system as well as training content developers in the basics of Web Design and HTML layout.
My past work experiences have included working for an internet-based travel company called travelago.com as a Designer and Client Support Manager, Lexmark International as a Web Content Developer managing products on their online store, and a non-profit organization called The Council of State Governments as a Web/Print Designer.
