I have been an active web developer since 1996, currently specializing in PHP/MySql and PL-SQL/Oracle environments and learning Ruby on Rails.
Since 1998, I've consistently done independent contract work designing and programming websites of all sizes. Preferred technologies include Oracle, MySQL, PHP, PL/SQL, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, ASP, ColdFusion and Perl.
In 2002, I earned a position at Kennametal, a $2bil company where I was in charge of the overall quality of Kennametal.com and responsible for the ease of use of the site's eBusiness portal. Also, I managed the company's Enterprise Content Management System.
In October 2004, I accepted a position at Vocollect Inc, where I successfully built and implemented an Intranet/CMS system in PHP/MySQL. In 2007, that intranet system was re-programmed to function in an Oracle Portal environment in an effort to leverage new functionality made available by the company's Oracle systems.
