• Challenged with no business alignment or IT visibility – (1) established an IT Steering Committee creating visibility into IT and creating Business Unit accountability; (2) established a Technology Advisory Council creating communication with C-level leaders; (3) established charge back mechanisms for business unit participation
• Challenged with no formal IT SOX framework or operational controls – (1) established a very lean and manageable SOX framework that was easily implemented and maintained; (2) created policies and procedures that enabled IT to address customer needs and raise customer satisfaction levels
