Owner, Eddie's Energy Bars
Burlington, Vermont Area
With an entrepreneurial spirit always at the helm of everything I do, I decided to dive into the specialty food arena with my current venture, Eddie's Energy Bars.
While many people don't consider homemade energy bars a specialty food, I most certainly do. Giving consumers the freshest energy bars made from all-natural ingredients, as well as incredible service, is very important to me.
Expansion has always been in the back of my head, but with many opportunities coming at me weekly, I must decide what is best for my company, as well as my parents, who run the company while I am at school in Rhode Island.
Eddie's has come a far way from what I even imagined it would be, but it is all exciting to see how the entrepreneurial process unfolds.

April 2006 — Present (3 years 4 months)
Back in 2004, my sophomore year of high school, I was given the task of creating a great-tasting energy bar, After a trial and error process for nearly two years, my dad and I came up with the perfect energy bar recipe.
I hit the pavement and started selling to a couple of local stores in spring of 2006. Since then we have expanded into seven retailers in two states.
We also sell online nation-wide. Our online business has grown since its conception in January 2007.
With the word spreading all across the nation, look out for Eddie's Energy Bars to be the next big energy bar on the market.

March 2004 — August 2007 (3 years 6 months)
In March of 2004, I needed a job. Iparty has provided me with incredible experience within the retail sector, and has shown me how to give great customer service.
Being with them over three years shows my dedication to the company, but also that I am willing to try new things.
