A pioneer in the Brazilian digital landscape, Hiro grew up in Rio de Janeiro but while half of him is Brazilian and very creative, the other half is Japanese and extremely analytical.
As a multidisciplinary professional with twelve years of experience in Interactive Media and Internet, he occupied various interactive roles in telecoms and internet companies in Latin America.
In 2004, as senior strategy manager at digital agency MPP, Hiro worked on accounts including Coca Cola, Peugeot and Sony. In 2006 he moved to London to pursue a master’s degree in Marketing.
Hiro joined Touch DDB in the beginning of 2008 as the specialist in digital planning and providing his expertise within Touch DDB planning team. He’s also proficient in other integrated planning skills including communications planning and account planning.
He considers himself a cool geek guy, and when he’s not hiking in the countryside you can find him building empires and deciding the destiny of millions of pixels in computer strategy games. His Brazilian half misses Rio’s sunny weather, and the Japanese half couldn’t agree more.
