After many years of tinkering with words, photographs, source code, databases and the internet in general, I've become a bit of an internet all-rounder.
Working as a columnist for a PC magazine from age 14 (as the 'PC Doctor', answering questions about their PC problems), starting my own photography review site - which later was bought off me and turned into akamera.no - at age 16, I've been neck-deep in word wide web tech since the dawn of the Internet.
I'm a hard-working, fast-learning geek, and I speak a handful of languages (Norwegian and Dutch being the relatively obscure ones), the latter of which turns out to be useful remarkably rarely.
Throughout the years, I have picked up extensive SEO skills, and have appropriated enough knowledge about web programming (PHP, specifically) and databases (MySQL), to know when coders are trying to pull the wool over my eyes me - a skill that comes in worryingly useful.
I'm a certified Scrum Product Owner, and a huge fan of agile project management methodologies.
I've run a photography blog for a few years, and watched it grow into quite a popular site (photocritic.org), which resulted in me writing a book myself (Macro Photography Workshop ISBN 9780470118764), and ghost-writing two more books (can't tell you which ones, but suffice to say they are in the field of photography).
Writing, coding, SEO, Photography, Photoshop, copy editing, journalism, coming up with crazy ideas that somehow work (some of the time).

As a Senior Producer for Channel Five, I was responsible for commissioning, developing, and running websites. The main project I've been working on is concept, development, and production of fwd.five.tv.
Using an agile project management methodology, I worked with development, design, information architecture and content agencies to pull the site out of the bag. It launched on time and on budget, to a phenomenal reception from its target audience.
In June I launched a further iteration of the site, which introduces Fifth Gear to join the existing Gadget Show brand as part of FiveFWD
