I must admit that last 1.7 months [Start of 2008 to mid of 2009] had been the most exciting & memorable for my life & career. Two startups [one as a founding team member and other as Member Of Technical Staff] taught me Business, Risking Taking, Living with Limited money & above all IT WAS THE LITMUS TEST OF MY ENTREPRENEURIAL ABILITY..and I passed :)
SUMMARY:
a. Was involved in development of softwares for some of the most interesting TV game shows like "Kamzor Kadii Kaun","Khelo Number Khelo" and many other game shows.It was very interesting and I have worked with "Siddarth Basu", one of the best directors in the game show industry(1.5 years)
b. Worked in Innomedia Technolgies for a Set Top Box for Reliance Infocomm.Was involved in the development of some of the most interesting modules for that STB including Wireless Telephony. (1 year)
c. Currenly working as a "Senior Software Engineer" in Mphasis Technologies Pvt Ltd for my client "NXP Semiconductors" as a consultant.I am working on C,ARM,Device Drivers and really enjoying the work on some of the cutting edge technologies in the semiconductors industry.
Goals:
As the profile says it all, Entrepreneurship is what BITES me the most and a STARTUP is what I dream of :)
Other Facts:
Had earlier been a part of an early stage startup where we also went out for meetings with VC's for our first found of Venture Funding.
Though not from a marketing background, am always able to think of new and viral ways of marketing.Blogging has helped me lot in understanding marketing, Web 2.0(coding as well) and has made me appear in few TV shows and newspapers.

After a short stint at an early stage startup Anaxee, I moved to another startup IChip Technologies[of around 20+ employees] which is into Embedded Product development.
I was involved in Development of applications , Porting of Operating System, Supporting colleagues regarding open-source development issues. My work was mainly involved in C, Linux [Kernel, Boot Loaders, Applications] and other open source development tools & software. On the hardware side, I was involved in working on ARM and AVR32.
Along with my technical side, I had also shown my Entrepreneurial side at different stages in the company like Ideation, Marketing, Market Research.
I also proactively streamlined a process to work with the other team-members which would result in maximum productivity with minimum interaction.

After blogging for many years about startups, Entrepreneurship; I decided to gave up my job for an early stage startup- Anaxee. This was the litmus test to check if at all I can do a startup in future.
As a part of day to day activities, I was involved in the development of Web Application using PHP, AJAX, MySQL. I was handling a team of two interns for the development of the application. Along with the web development, I was also involved in some aspects of the Embedded Development.
Along with the Technical work, there was involvement in the fine tuning of Business Plan[B-Plan] for raising funds, accompanying our team for meeting potential investors with presentation from our CEO and than working back with the team for the updates on the Plan.I was also involved in conducting interviews for hiring [for technical positions] at Anaxee.
There was a good exposure where along with Technical Side, I came to know across the Business Side of a product development. It was a great experience and would surely help me in my own startup :) -
