Hannah Hershey’s Summary
The summer after my freshman year, I had two part-time summer internships, which were two very different but equally valuable experiences. At my internship with IQ Incorporated, a small IT Consulting firm, I had experience building a website, contacting job candidates and requesting information from them over the phone. I was also assigned to a contact position at Respironics, in which i collected and analyzed the error reports of a clinical trial. In my blogging internship, I gained valuable insight into the HR world. I also promoted 3 blogs through white hat SEO tactics and published my own blog posts concerning jobs in CT and NY. I have also published YouTube videos to promote the blogs, and will be publishing podcasts to iTunes this month. I am currently in the process of searching for a summer internship.
I hope to be employed in the IT field in a position that allows for advancement. I also believe that I have very strong social skills, so a position that is less technical would bring out my strengths. I believe that I have a lot to offer and already have gained valuable experience dealing with real world problems. I am looking forward to the future!
