I am currently responsibile for setting a community-wise agenda for attracting and retaining young professionals in Greensboro NC through an initiative called synerG. Some of synerG’s projects include planning and executing an annual back-to-college festival: Get Down! Town, a regional internship initiative known as Triad InternNet, the Leadership Initiative – an interactive website connecting interested young professionals to open positions with City Commissions, County Boards, and Non-Profit Boards, and monthly dinners called Making Connections Around the Table.
Previously, when working for United Way of Dane County (Madison WI), I ran the day-to-day operations of the 2-1-1 Community Information and Referral Helpline and managed more than $2.5 million in allocations to community organizations for the Community Building department.
