Naftalie Hershler studied law at the University of Amsterdam and is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Noterik. He is an expert in the fields of non-formal education, e-healthcare and digital media, being professional active in these fields for more then ten years. Beside his commercial efforts he is frequently appointed as a consultant within projects which require IT related communication strategies, knowledge management and organizational change.
Naftalie is one of the co-founders of Radio Benevolencija, a NGO specilized in conflict prevention. He founded joods.nl, an online community and magazine about jewish culture. Naftalie lives partly in Jerusalem and mainly in Amsterdam

Naftalie is de initiatiefnemer en oprichter van Stichting Levende Herinneringen.
Levende Herinneringen heeft als doel het behoud en de overdracht van de Indische cultuur.
Binnen het project worden middels video diepte-interviews actief getuigenissen verzameld over diverse belevingen van Indische identiteit. Ruim 900 oudere Indische personen zullen worden geïnterviewd. Hiermee zullen hun waardevolle herinneringen niet verloren gaan voor toekomstige generaties. Jongere Indische mensen kunnen zelfstandig hun eigen getuigenissen aan het archief toevoegen. Het archief dat hiermee tot stand komt, is voor iedereen ten allen tijden openbaar toegankelijk via Internet.

Naftalie is one of the co-founders of Radio La Benevolencija / Humanitarian Tools Foundation.
Radio Benevolencija is a NGO devoted to helping people who have suffered from ethnic violence. Extensive academic research has proven that ethnic conflict and group violence always take place according to specific patterns. Radio Benevolencija develops media campaigns to make people aware of these patterns. The media broadcasts and grassroots activities raise awareness about the dangers of political propaganda, group pressure and the patterns that lead to group violence. The activities aims to contribute to reconciliation and the prevention of future ethnic violence . The program is designed under the guidance of academic experts from the University of Massachussetts, the Trauma Research Education and Training Institute (TREATI) and Yale University. Activities are based on academic research into the origins and prevention of genocide, as well as a community-based approach to healing.
