I'm drawn to working with teams and organizations with a strong "social glue" - where the culture offers every employee an opportunity to learn & grow, take pride in their work, live a balanced life, have fun, and be compensated fairly.

When I joined Me.dium, there was a founding management team and one engineer with a prototype. In just over a year we built a team of 30+ engineers, set up a Agile development process for rapid releases, hired a product management team, created the PM methodologies from ground up, released several versions of the Me.dium sidebar, integrated our widgets with Facebook, built a compelling web presence, rolled out a highly distributed real-time matching engine, and created an extensive IP portfolio. I'm probably forgetting a few things. We accomplished an amazing amount of work in very short period of time!

In 2001, I started Kalos Strategy Group, a consulting firm that worked with senior management of high-growth organizations. Kalos developed a propriety methodology that links strategy, leadership, and execution with key performance metrics. By 2003, Kalos was listed as one of Denvers top consulting firms. Through its partnership with Gazelles International, Kalos twice hosted local events with Jim Collins, NY Times Best Selling Author of Good to Great. Before disbanding to explore new opportunities, the firm had grown to six partners and senior advisors whom had previously held top executive positions in high tech, telecommunications, manufacturing, education, and military.

We grew XOR into a full-service ebusiness outsourcing firm with approximately 500 employees, with seven offices throughout the U.S., and revenues in excess of $50 million. I was proud to lead the company as it became the sixth fastest growing technology company in Colorado (Ernst & Young Colorado Fast 50) and was included on Inc.
