Career diplomat with 11 years experience in the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), during which special emphasis and knowledge was gained in the area of European Union affairs as well as Palestine / Israeli affairs and euro-mediterranean relations. Served at Belgian Embassies in Rwanda, Israel/Palestine and Denmark. Have strong background in conflict resolution, policy formulation, negotiations, risk assessment, business investigation and economic diplomacy. Presently Deputy Permanent Representative of Belgium to the OSCE, mainly dealing with crisis zones in the Caucasus, the Balkans and Central Asia.
