Taking a cue from popular events such as the Jazz Festival and Mardi Gras, Roux combines a sexy and mysterious atmosphere, while integrating in high quality Louisiana fare with a contemporary/healthy spin.
  
  Bringing an upper casual restaurant experience to downtown Austin, Roux melds the live music history of The Parish (www.theparishroom.com), a 6th Street staple, with a fresh new concept: Cajun dining and taste with a “fusion” twist.
  
  My primary focus is on marketing the Roux brand and getting more group business into our space. I also burnish my bartending skills behind the bar from time to time :).

  In 2002, I was approached by a friend and asked to help launch Pinnacle Brokerage Firm. We assembled a team of 5 people who over the next several years built an insurance brokerage of over 130 agents nationwide.
  
  Working with individuals and employers, we provide financial security in challenging times. Our fantastic relationships with our carriers enable us to provide various forms of life insurance, disability and supplemental insurance plans to our clients. Most of our policies focus on living benefts - insurance you don't have to die to use!
