Director of Marketing and Training at Search Engine People
Toronto, Canada Area
WHO AM I?
Known around the blogosphere as semlady, I been immersed in the online world for about a decade.
I began building websites for fun in 1997, and began my professional career in Online Marketing in the world of E-Commerce in June 2000.
My Internet Marketing skills were built out of a need to market online on a very tight budget. In fact, I have generated sales in excess of $500k with an $18k online marketing campaign (yes, you read that correctly). I have achieved success like this due to my ability to leverage organic search engine results to generate conversions, and through my attention to detail while tightly controlling targeted PPC campaigns.
I sharpened my skills in the trenches of E-Commerce and GREW revenues and PROFITABILITY straight through the dot-com burst.
While at non-linear creations, I applied my expertise for clients such as TD Canada Trust, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Tridel and The Canadian Press.
