Responsible for LEGO Factory, which is the LEGO Group's consumer customization business that allows LEGO fans around the world to custom-design and buy their unique LEGO sets online at www.LEGOFactory.com.
Being unique in the field and one of the few advanced consumer customization offerings in the market, we operated in often unknown territory where 'constant Plan B' and 'do it wrong quickly' was the business mode and we defined the rules on how to manage large-scale consumer customization, co-creation, and user-driven innovation in practice.
Highlights: Meeting Dean Kamen, experiencing Jorgen Vig Knudstorp's leadership, working on one of the most innovative and consumer-focused projects in existence, and seeing it covered in numerous business books, articles, newsgroups, and phd studies.

In charge of revenue, marketing, and channel management for LEGO Factory (see above).
Being a new business unit, I focused on making it operational. This included refining the operational set-up, validating budgets, designing the marketing team structure, establishing business processes incl product development process and go-to-market proces, and orchestrating the strategic direction for the following 3 years.
In parallel, the marketing team and I drove the ongoing commercial activities to achieve financial and loyalty targets. This team was responsible for managing the activities in collaboration with numerous internal and external partners, including our users.

Management of the Levi's brand in the digital area incl digital innovation and marketing. This included continuous development of the European website, pan-European and local digital campaigns, cross-media programs, ecommerce development, and direct, online and mobile marketing. Responsible for strategy, execution, KPIs, agencies, a small team and the European digital marketing and ecommerce budget, member of the European marketing leadership team reporting to European marketing director.
Highlights: Having the user-generated content and publishing programme Antidote dubbed ’the future of youth marketing’ by YPulse (http://ypulse.com/archives/2005/06/the_antidote_to.php), and working with the wise San Francisco based consultants Dan and Meredith Beam.

Responsible for developing and delivering marketing plans and programs for part of Sony Music's Intl portfolio on the Danish market: Setting the volume and profit goals, establishing the appropriate channels for optimised ROI, agency management, and working cross-functionally with sales, promotion, and event marketing.
Highlights: Meeting Bob Dylan and Tony Bennett (not at the same time, though), and taking Suede to platinum status - although biggest achievement no doubt was preventing The Jesus & Mary Chain from tearing the interview room apart and cover it in peanuts.

Coordinated the activities of the Danish Music Council’s publishing arm, from co-authoring publications, working with contributors and printers to sales (direct and via re-sellers) and promotion.
Highlight: Co-author and editor of the book “Labyrinten” (“The Labyrinth”), a guide to music recording and publishing contracts (1995), the first of its kind in Denmark.
