In this company, I had the position of “Purchases of Raw Materials”, grain and meals mainly, so as part of my job, I had to negotiate with local and foreign suppliers in order to get the best price of the product and also the best way to put the product in our plant.

I also was responsible for the inventory control of grains and meals and responsible of handling the logistics of bringing the raw material to the plant taking advantage of our own transport if it was available or getting external transport, such as trailer or train.

Also, since this company imports all the yellow corn from the U.S., I had to deal with SECOFI in order to get the permission to import corn and deal with Railroad companies in order to get the best tariff possible.
