I am a big picture problem solver with a focus on simplicity, efficiency, automation, and Getting Real (see http://gettingreal.37signals.com/). I like working with ideas, visions, grand schemes, possibilities, and what-ifs.
I love working with creative, passionate, funny, smart people on projects that add value to the world. I especially appreciate projects that change the way people think. If I can make them laugh or cry at the same time, even better. Switching those last two statements also works for me.
I love working with small teams, especially in a startup atmosphere. I'm an idealist. Nothing is impossible and the best idea should always win. On the Meyers-Briggs scale I'm an INTJ, if that helps, which can best be summed up like this: "Reality is the pawn of ideas."
What I love most about a project is seeing people interact with the finished product and hearing them say "Wow!"
I enjoy creating and working with these things (in no particular order): web sites and applications, music and music composition, film and screenplays, writing, games, interactive play, and pranks.
