HARDintelligence.com, provides sales and marketing expertise throughout the US, Canada and China. Clients include stakeholders in all facets of homebuilding, mortgage lending, as well as some medical fields.
Dave has held VP positions with Polygon Northwest in WA, KB Home in AZ, and D. R. Horton in CA and President of Ultimate New Home Sales, active throughout CA.
In his first year in Los Angeles, HARD doubled sales and tripled pretax profits at Western Pacific / DR Horton, America's largest homebuilder. He was recognized twice as the Building Industry’s Sales Manager of the Year for LA/Ventura, and was elected twice as his Sales & Marketing Council President.
In 2004, HARD received international tribute as NAHB Sales Manager of the Year. HARD was recognized twice by Builder and Developer Magazine’s “Who’s Who—The Industry’s Finest.”
Dave created D. R. Horton’s Design Studio in LA. Before its first full year in operation, NAHB judged it as the best in Hawaii, Nevada and California. It added more profit to DR Horton than the entire division had the previous year.
HARD has been a keynote speaker at the SOCAL Building Industry Show, the Chicago Title Annual Builder Symposium, International Builders’ Show and ULI Young Leaders.
HARD has been published in Builder Magazine, Master Builder, Builder & Developer, Big Builder, Builder Digest, House Calls, Journal of the Community Associations Institute, NSMC Ideas Magazine, and other journals. He has been quoted in the LA Times, LA Business Journal, Bellevue Journal American, and the Seattle Times.
Dave is a member of the American Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, National Association of Home Builders, and owns several courses accredited by them, appraisal and CCIM professionals. He teaches Master Planned Communities and Site & Marketing Analysis at UC Irvine.
Successfully training sales professionals throughout US, Canada and in China. Attendees from every one of the Builder Ten, Laing Homes, StanPac, Warmington, Castle & Cook, and the top third-party sales companies. Court-appointed Receiver-Manager and expert witness.
