IT Consultant
Edinburgh, United Kingdom
I started out on the graduate programme for Scottish Widows and LloydsTSB in Edinburgh, and spent over 2 years gaining experience of the full development life-cycle on their Bancassurance Point of Sale laptop based system, which still brings in 50% of SW business.
I moved to Crocodile-clips in 2004 and they develop market leading simulation software for schools across the globe. I worked on creating an ICT and PIC programming simulator using their new m-Model architecture in C++ (Qt).

I then returned to Scottish Widows as a contractor for Ajilon to implement some new Products and re-branding on the BPoS system for Lloyds TSB. This involved planning designing and implementing a new range of Capital Protected OEIC products, handing them over to test, and then completing the implementation and handover of an updated Protection for Life Reasons Why Letter to satisfy legal requirements involved in selling financial products.
Since moving to PA as a Consultant, I have been involved in CRM and Workflow projects, CMS and Interface design, delivering technical training, C and C++ driver coding and am finally getting to be creative in a wide range of environments!
