Snow Reporter

Mount Snow

The stars aligned during my season as Snow Reporter.

Mount Snow was host to the inaugural Winter Dew Tour, launched its all-park mountain face and became the fan gun capital of the US all in the same year.

I had the pleasure of telling that story.

Through my viral videos, witty snow reports, blogs and basic photography, I painted a wintry picture increasing patronage and the website’s visits by 20%. Behind the scenes, I helped the marketing efforts through PR and collateral writing.

I learned a lot about my craft and myself. It was the best "real job” experience anyone could've asked for. Shredding 100+ days just happened to be a perk.

Its small staff wore a lot of hats - mine consisted of PR, event coordination, writing, networking and some multimedia.

Traveling out to Aspen, CO to cover the Winter X-Games was incredible - some of the best snowboarding I've ever experienced topped with interviewing the likes of Hannah Teter & Kelly Clark.
