. I’m a system architect and developer with project and team leader experience. I have long experience of developing applications on a number of different platforms. I am innovative and can work independently. I think I am a good team leader as well as a good member of a team. I think of myself as a consultant and visionary: I always try to express my opinions and ideas, though never afraid of being proven wrong. I like being part of the project cycle from idée, thru sales, design, development and all the way to a finished project. I feel comfortable communicating with both customers and co workers. With my experience of working in Belgium and USA, I feel comfortable communicating in English, both in verbal and written form.
My main focus has been as a developer of web applications and system integration. I have concentrated on technical design, system architecture and development, while leaving graphic design to more skilled interface and graphic designers. I have always been trying to be innovative and working with new technologies. During the last seven years I have also assumed the role of technical project leader in many projects.
I would like to continue working with application design and development mainly using the .NET framework. I would like to work more with application architecture and design without leaving development behind. The role as project/team leader is interesting for me as well.
My current special interests are in the following areas:
• Smart Clients – I’m very interested of continuing building Smart Client applications that would in part replace web applications.
• Mobile solutions – Building solutions for Windows mobile is something I want to explore in more detail.
• System development methodologies – I’m very interested in using Agile methodologies like Scrum and XP. Test driven development is a practice I want to continue using.

December 2005 — August 2008 (2 years 9 months)
My main focus has been system development in C#/VB.NET using .NET Framework 2.0. My role has been as system architect/designer, technical project leader and developer. The main project I have been working on is an ERP system for a Swedish express bus company for long haul passengers.
The ERP system has been rewritten as a SOA application in VB.NET and includes:
• A Smart client using ClickOnce for distribution. The client is a point of sales application for ticket sales.
• A web site with search and ticket purchase functionality.
• A web service interface for the client application
• An Application server with the main business layer and data access layer
• A Windows forms application for back office functionality.
The project was run as a Scrum project where I was the Scrum master (project leader). The project was also inspired by test driven development with lots of unit tests
