In 1997 Haig formed Haigmedia, a company that was awarded the Interactive Site of the Year for the strategy, art direction and design of the Travel Cuts website. Additionally, Haigmedia was asked to produce and develop a new strategy to attract a younger audience for CBC Radio. The CBC project eventually developed into the now internationally recognized CBC Radio 3. Haig played a key role in the strategy, design and development of Home Delivery & Radio 3's online Magazine. Both projects have received numerous awards internationally, including a Prix Italia and two Webby Awards.
Haigmedia Inc., has taken on a wide variety of clients ranging from BMW to Chanel, and was asked to travel to Yellowknife, NWT to redesign the northern magazine, Up Here. In the last quarter of 2005, Haigmedia had the privilege to work on a innovative architectural project called Dockside Green. The company was contracted to design the brand, marketing materials and sales centre for the Victoria real estate development which has a platinum LEED certification.
Haig currently directs Lift Studios, a Canadian company that has won countless industry awards and continues to make a name for itself by providing forward-thinking solutions for its clients in the areas of branding and interactive design.
