Dutchento is the platform for Dutch Magento users, developers, designers, etc. I founded the community platform and organize the Meet Magento conferences, the first one was in January 2009, the second in May 2010 and the third one in May 2011 (http://www.meet-magento.nl).
For my active role in the (Dutch) Magento community, I received the "Magento - X.commerce Community Builder Award" out of the hands of eBay CEO John Donahoe in October 2011 at the Innovate Conference in San Francisco.

I researched Motion-Induced Blindness (MIB), a phenomenon of visual disappearance or perceptual illusions in which salient visual stimuli disappear as if erased in front of the observers eyes (for more information, see http://www.weizmann.ac.il/home/masagi/MIB/mib.html).
Our research found an effect for distance (increased distance -> increased MIB) and for direction (more MIB in the upper left visual field).
