I have a B.A. (IT) from University of Quebec and hold the GIAC GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GCUX, GCFA certifications as well as the ISSPCS certification.
I have helped stood up and worked at a number of Security Operation Centres (SOC's) in technical support and Incident Response role, gaining a very good understanding of the Information Security threats facing enterprise and the resultant risks to protect networks. I specialise in providing defence in depth solutions starting at the host (endpoint security with Network Access Control) to network boundaries.
I have been mentoring and instructing in Canada, the USA and Europe in various capacities since 2000. This has help me develop and maintain teaching material current in the hope that my experience and expertise can help others. I am a certified SANS instructor and a course author for some of the GIAC courses.
I am the author of the OS hardened Snort IDS with Sguil console where I freely share the ISO and made it available at: http://www.whitehats.ca.
