Responsible for strategic Public Sector customer engagements and new business development activity within Public Sector market place, from the development of strategic bid plans through to the implementation of strategic business development opportunities. The primary purpose of this role is to drive growth in all of Insight’s UK public sector framework contracts and act as primary relationship manager with framework stakeholders.
This role rquires that I identify, prioritise, plan and develop new business opportunities within the public sector market place through proactive customer and partner engagements.

As a professional proposal manager and chartered IT professional, there were four main functions in my role and they include: Strategic Contract Acquisition; Specialist Partner Management; Business Development and Solutions Bid Management. I managed a team of professionals who prepare expert documents for clients and partners including strategic briefs, detailed proposals, contract reviews and negotiations.
I developed the PC World Business HCI offering – increasing the number of customers who can participate in HCI schemes; and, I have developed the Catalist Partner Programme (formerly GCAT Specialist Supplier) model that allows DSGi Business to increase market share in non-core business streams by utilising the expertise of professional organisations throughout the UK.
I assisted in the development of services sales and delivery by designing new service programs for delivery to public sector, commercial and managed account base.
